I was commissioned to do this sword by someone from Germany (let me just take a second to freak out about that... international!!!) and at first, he wanted Auron's defult sword but as I asked him more about what he wanted, he finally showed me a picture of this beauty.
I have to say, that this sword definitely took a lot of machine-ing and just a lot of manual labor in general. Like with all of my weapons, durability is very important, so when I saw the circular prongs on the side, I knew I had to find a different material. I chose a high quality ply wood and sandwiched the 3 pieces together.
